Report on Bolivia Part Dos

Abstract:
They give a lot of their time and energy to these kids, and their devotion and love humble me beyond words.

Body:
The most important part of the trip to me is the relationships we build and the people we meet. The kids were wonderful. On the first night, some of the girls did a choreographed song/dance to a Spanish contemporary Christian song.

We met these kids on our trip to Cinquo Del Junio. I remembered the little girl on the left from two years ago.

These two were from the Internado:

And here is Luis. He would jump in front of the camera any time you pulled it out. It seems there's always one in every crowd! Here he is playing in a box:

The adult staff were wonderful, too. They give a lot of their time and energy to these kids, and their devotion and love humble me beyond words. Eduardo and Rachel are my heroes:

I hope to be able to go back and keep in touch with these folks.

In Part Tres I'll tell a bit about the ongoing projects at Ixiamas. You can get a better sense of the scope of the work by seeing the blog of the Auburn Wesley Foundation folks that are staying in Bolivia.
