It's the Estwing Sure Strike. Last July, on a mission trip, one of my congregation members loaned one to me. The spousal unit and I liked it so much we ordered two for ourselves - one 16 claw and one 22 oz. ripping hammer. They have excellent balance.

I'm not a Tim-the-toolman guy. Neither one of us could find our way around a shop or a construction site with a map. But after several days of swinging hammers with our atrophied arms, we decided that before we went on another mission trip we would special order these puppies. We are glad we did. They were great both for working on roofs and for tearing out drywall.

I wouldn't want to do a lot of upside-down work with the 22 oz., but for most applications it is a great shoulder-saver.
